Chances are you’re familiar with Jupiter, Fla., for things like its beautiful beaches, high-end real estate, or thriving golf community. Perched on the Atlantic Coast, the city also enjoys beautiful weather and, as you might guess, great seafood restaurants. Jupiter has no shortage of incredible seafood restaurants, and each one offers something a little different. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual dockside meal or an elegant dinner, you’re sure to find something you’ll love.
As someone who loves exploring the local restaurant scene, I’ve compiled a list of places serving Jupiter's best seafood. Please feel free to try these recommended restaurants — and let me know if they live up to expectations!
Jetty’s Waterfront Restaurant
Jetty’s Waterfront Restaurant is one of my go-to spots for a classic seafood experience with unbeatable views. You’ll usually see patrons on date nights or special family dinners.
Located right on the water, this place offers a front-row seat to Jupiter’s iconic lighthouse while you enjoy fresh seafood dishes. The menu has many options, but the Florida grouper and lobster tails are standouts. Their Key Lime Pie is the perfect way to end the meal.
Little Moir’s Food Shack (and Leftover’s Cafe)
Little Moir’s Food Shack is a modest spot that stands out for its creative and delicious seafood dishes. It’s a smaller spot with a laid-back feel, but the food is anything but ordinary. Their sweet potato-crusted fish and tuna basil rolls are out of this world. The daily specials are always worth checking out since they highlight the freshest catches of the day—an advantage of being so close to the ocean. Leftover’s Cafe is its sister restaurant and is equally incredible!
Dive Bar Restaurant
Contrary to its humble name,
Dive Bar Restaurant is anything but a dive. It’s an upscale spot with waterfront dining and a menu packed with fresh seafood options. If you like sushi, you’ll love their selection of creative and delicious rolls. Dive Bar also serves poke bowls and perhaps the best lobster roll in town. Catering to boaters and casual guests, the restaurant gives authentic Jupiter vibes.
1000 North
1000 North gets labeled as New American, but don’t let that fool you — it’s also a high-end option for seafood lovers looking for a more refined dining experience. The wide-ranging menu peaks in the seafood section with salty delicacies like Maine lobster and shareable like seared scallops. While you wait for your order, take in beautiful water views.
Schooners
The seafood shack
Schooners has been a local favorite for years because of its surpassing seafood dishes and casual, welcoming environment. Located just off A1A (better known as Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway), Schooners transports guests out of their daily routines. It’s adjacent to Thirsty Joe’s, the outdoor bar serving house wine, draft beer, and well drinks. Schooners fillets fish in-house, so you know you’re getting the good stuff.
Lucky Shuck
Overlooking the Intracoastal waterway,
Lucky Shuck is a newer addition to the Jupiter seafood scene, and it’s already made a big impression (at least on me). The restaurant’s menu focuses on Gulf-inspired dishes, and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The cocktail menu is just as impressive, making it a great spot for happy hour or a casual dinner.
Hog Snappers
Hog Snappers in Tequesta combines fresh seafood with a creative twist, offering everything from sushi rolls to Caribbean-inspired dishes. The quirky decor and friendly vibe make it a fun place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. With its inventive menu and welcoming atmosphere, Hog Snappers is an excellent spot to satisfy a seafood craving in Jupiter.
Captain Charlie’s Reef Grill
A restaurant that’s become an institution,
Captain Charlie’s Reef Grill has served incredible seafood for decades. The restaurant has a no-frills, casual vibe — the focus is on the food. Their yellowtail snapper and seafood paella are great examples of flavorful dishes; the daily specials are always worth exploring since they highlight the day's freshest catches.
