I can be a bit picky when it comes to getting my caffeine fix around Jupiter. There’s nothing quite like finding that perfect coffee shop where the vibe is just right, the coffee is superb, and the community feels like home. Fortunately, Jupiter is blessed with an abundance of cozy coffee spots, each with its own special charm and unique blends and brews. Whether you’re a local settling it to sip a favorite coffee or just stopping by for a java to-go on the way to your next South Florida adventure, these places should be on your radar for your next cup of joe.
Pura Vida Miami
147 Soundings Ave, Jupiter
Pura Vida Miami offers a bright, airy space that I find perfect for a relaxed coffee break. When people rave about Jupiter’s walkability, they have places like Pura Vida in mind. It’s situated within the Harbourside Place shopping area, a stone’s throw from the Intracoastal. The café’s inviting atmosphere makes it a great spot to unwind, whether you’re starting your morning or recharging midday.
The shop is also known for its health-conscious menu and clean aesthetic. Choose from delicious organic coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, and nutrient-packed bites. Their iced lattes and matcha drinks are particularly popular. With a focus on sustainability and wellness, Pura Vida Miami combines a sense of calm with high-quality offerings, making it a standout in Jupiter’s coffee scene.
Carve Surf & Coffee
255 US-1, Tequesta
Carve Surf & Coffee is where surf culture meets fantastic coffee, creating a laid-back vibe for patrons who make the short drive up US 1 from Jupiter. Located near Jupiter’s beautiful beaches, this spot is a favorite among locals and visitors looking to fuel up after a morning on the waves.
Their coffee menu features everything from bold espressos to creamy cappuccinos, complemented by fresh pastries and light bites. The decor matches the coastal aesthetic you’ll find in many Jupiter homes. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a chill place to relax, Carve Surf & Coffee captures the essence of Jupiter with its casual charm and great brews. My personal favorite? The Harp with a homemade banana coconut bread!
Perk Coffee House
384 Tequesta Dr, Tequesta
With its cozy seating, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly baristas, I always describe
Perk Coffee House as a home away from home. You can choose from Perk’s famous handcrafted beverages: the expertly brewed pour-overs and flavorful seasonal lattes are the stars of the menu. Their locally sourced beans ensure every cup is fresh and full of character.
In addition to great coffee, Perk Coffee House offers a selection of pastries and light snacks, making it an ideal spot for a quick breakfast or an afternoon pick-me-up. The warm environment encourages you to linger, making it a favorite gathering place for the Jupiter community. It’s an unassuming corner shop with outdoor seating surrounded by native plants — be sure to check out Perk next time you’re in the neighborhood.
Crux Coffee Roasters
1155 Main St STE 118, Jupiter
When coffee aficionados ask for a recommendation in Jupiter, I never hesitate to send them to
Crux. A magnet for coffee fans, the cafe stands out in the heart of Abacoa for its dedication to the craft of coffee roasting. The cafe roasts its coffee in-house, sourcing the highest-quality beans for its menu, which is filled with complex, perfectly balanced coffees.
The minimalist, modern interior focuses squarely on the coffee, making it a haven for true coffee enthusiasts. On your first visit, try the single-origin pour-overs or their superb pulled espresso drinks. Whether you’re grabbing a quick shot of espresso or settling in for a quiet moment with a pour-over, Crux Coffee Roasters delivers a consistently excellent experience.
Oceana Coffee Cafe
150 US-1 #1, Tequesta
Conveniently located just off US 1 in Tequesta,
Oceana Coffee Cafe is a cornerstone of the local coffee scene. Its laid-back atmosphere is the antithesis of the drive-through coffee industry. Oceana is owned and operated by coffee experts who are committed to sustainability. The café is warm and inviting, with knowledgeable staff happy to recommend their favorites or guide you through the day’s offerings.
Like Crux Coffee, Oceana roasts beans in small batches to maximize flavor and freshness. Their drinks menu ranges from smooth, velvety lattes to bold Americanos, each brewed to perfection. Remarkably, Oceana’s cold beverages are served with coffee ice cubes, ensuring your drink never tastes watered down. Food items like waffles with berries are the cherry on top at Oceana.
Papa Kwans Coffee Shop
13882 US-1, Juno Beach
Yet another must-visit stop on the US 1 coffee trail,
Papa Kwans Coffee Shop is a local favorite with a casual, island-inspired vibe. Easy to miss and even easier to enjoy, this hidden gem is known for its laid-back atmosphere and friendly service, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It’s independently owned and fully committed to organic coffee.
The menu features a mix of classic coffee drinks and unique specialties, like their popular coconut cold brew, which offers a refreshing twist. I rate the cafe’s cold brew as top-tier among Jupiter cafes. The food menu caters to specialty diets including vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free patrons. With coffee-adjacent beverages like kombucha on tap, it’s no wonder Papa Kwans has been voted the best local coffee shop each year since 2017.
Subculture Coffee
107 Front Street, Jupiter
Speaking of great locations, South Florida staple
Subculture Coffee occupies one of Jupiter’s best spots for those who prefer taking their coffee to go and savoring every sip in a serene waterfront setting. Located in Harbourside Place (home to the Wyndham Grand Jupiter and Tiger Woods’ flagship eatery), Subculture allows patrons to hang out and chill or stroll along the Intracoastal Waterway with coffee in hand.
Of course, Subculture’s trendy-in-all-the-right-ways cafe makes it difficult to venture too far. This place has a chill, artsy vibe that makes you want to hang out for hours— perfect for people-watching or catching up with friends. The coffee here is always on point—whether you’re into a strong espresso or prefer to take things slow with a flat white. The pastry selection is top-notch, with fresh, flaky treats that pair perfectly with your cup of coffee.
