Within this one little area, there are many whimsical shops, exotic boutiques, and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean’s turquoise waters or the Loxahatchee River everywhere you look.

Local Lifestyle
With an overall size of approximately 2.21 square miles, residents of this beach village live in lavish single-family homes or in condominiums. A lot of the single-family homes are older, which means they have a lot of character. This style appeals to some residents, while others may prefer to be in the more modern condominiums.
Since Tequesta is the hidden gem of Palm Beach County and a beach community, most residents spend a lot of time enjoying the water in whatever way they can. Boating, waterskiing, and beach combing are all popular pastimes. Since it is in South Florida, many of these activities can be indulged in throughout the year, regardless of the season.
Residents who live here all year long embrace a more active lifestyle. There are plenty of green spaces and parks to jog through, palm tree-lined sidewalks to walk along, and an endless list of quaint privately owned restaurants and shops to explore.
Dining, Entertainment & Shopping
When you’ve got a craving, Tequesta has many delightful options for you to try. If it’s Mexican foods you desire, then Papi Chulo could be the place for you. You may choose anything from savory coconut shrimp or quesadillas and tacos. The Hog Snapper is a local favorite for those seeking seafood delights. It is an island-themed restaurant and tiki bar with a casual vibe and superb food choices.
If you’re in the mood for something a little more sophisticated, then we suggest Blue Pointe Bar + Grill. This outdoor bar and grill sits directly on the Intracoastal and offers a menu that will satisfy your cravings, whether you want seafood or chicken wings. On a hot day, diners and their kids cool off in the restaurant’s public swimming pool.
When only shopping will satisfy your need for adventure, Sea Lustre is a fantastic place to begin. Sea Lustre is a quaint little boutique with a decadent selection of furniture, home decor, clothing, and jewelry.
Things to Do
If you’re looking for entertainment, there’s always something going on in this quiet little village. For example, you can visit Constitution Park, where you will find fitness stations, rock climbing areas, walking trails, and more.
At Constitution Park, you will often find other events that may interest you, like the Run 4 the Pies (5K). This run takes place every Thanksgiving. The event begins at the Tequesta Recreation Center. Another fun event in November is the Chili Cook-Off on Main Street. It is an event that honors veterans while satisfying everyone’s craving for live music and the best chili you will ever have the pleasure of tasting.
At the end of a long day of relaxing on the beach or shopping, visit the Tequesta Brewing Company. Not only will you find a variety of locally brewed beer on tap, but you can relax while listening to a live band, playing trivia with friends, or taking part in many other activities while mingling with your neighbors.
